The main focus of patch 1.03.02 is to address the problems caused by patch 1.03.01. One of the major issues in the previous update was the breaking of moves with the “Tornado” property. In response, Bandai Namco plans to revert the adjustments made in the previous update, making Tornado moves behave as they did before patch 1.03.01. This will restore consistency to combos in the game.

While this update aims to fix the Tornado moves, it does not address the issue of unpredictable collision detection. Bandai Namco is aware of this problem but is currently focused on restoring consistency to combos. It is likely that they will address the collision detection issue in a future update.

Character Adjustments and Nerfs

Additionally, Azucena, one of the characters in Tekken 8, will receive some nerfs in this update. Bandai Namco acknowledges that some characters struggle to deal with one of Azucena’s attacks, and to make it easier to punish, the recovery frames of the attack will be increased by 5 frames. This adjustment should provide players with better opportunities to counterattack.

Rank Adjustments and Avatar Skins

In terms of other improvements and bug fixes, the starting rank for the DLC character “EDDY GORDO” in online modes will be matched with existing characters. This ensures a fair playing field for all players. The update also includes new avatar skins for seven characters in the TEKKEN SHOP.

Bug Fixes and Gameplay Mechanics

In terms of bug fixes, the issue where opponents were able to move during the time freeze animation before the activation of Rage Arts or Heat Bursts has been resolved. This will ensure that the gameplay mechanics function as intended.

Conclusion

Overall, patch 1.03.02 for Tekken 8 aims to address the issues caused by the previous update and restore consistency to combos. Bandai Namco is actively working on improving the game and providing a better gaming experience for players. Players can expect further updates and improvements in the future as the developers continue to fine-tune the game.
