NexusMods issued a warning over the weekend, acknowledging the impact of the Fallout TV show’s popularity on their website. “We are experiencing much more traffic than usual due to the popularity of the Fallout TV series,” stated NexusMods. “We have deployed extra resources where possible and we are monitoring the uptime and performance across the network. We have staff on call at all times to deal with any problems.”

Despite their efforts, NexusMods continues to face challenges, with a “degraded performance” warning still visible on their site as of April 22. The influx of players extends beyond just the latest installment, Fallout 76, as even the original Fallout and Fallout 4 have witnessed a substantial increase in concurrent player numbers on platforms like Steam.
