Sony has recently announced the new lineup of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers in March 2024. The list includes highly anticipated titles such as the Resident Evil 3 remake, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

In a recent PlayStation.Blog post, Sony detailed the 13 games that will be added to the service’s offerings. The drop includes eight PlayStation Plus Extra titles and five Premium titles, offering a diverse range of games for players to explore.

Extra tier subscribers can look forward to thrilling survival horror and strategy experiences with games like Resident Evil 3 and Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Sports fans will also be delighted with the inclusion of NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition.

Premium subscribers, on the other hand, will have access to all the games on the list. They will also be treated to some classic bonuses, including titles like Cool Boarders and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. However, the real highlight for Premium subscribers might be the often-forgotten PSP offshoot, Jak and Daxter The Lost Frontier.

All of these exciting games will be available to play starting from March 19.

Highlights of the New Games Lineup

Let’s take a closer look at some of the standout titles. NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition, released in September 2023, offers updated player rosters for the annual basketball game series. Marvel’s Midnight Suns, developed by Firaxis Games, combines turn-based combat with superheroes for a unique Marvel experience. Capcom’s Resident Evil 3, a remake of the classic survival horror game, tells the story of Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira as they try to escape Raccoon City and the relentless Nemesis.

Lego DC Super-Villains, another installment in the popular Traveller’s Tales Lego game series, allows players to play as iconic DC villains and enjoy the signature Lego humor. Mystic Pillars: Remastered offers players dreamy puzzles set in Ancient India, with improved visuals and user interface.

Blood Bowl 3, developed by Cyanide, brings the wacky world of Warhammer football to modern devices. Super Neptunia RPG is an anime adventure RPG that follows the story of Neptune, a girl with amnesia who must save the 2D world she’s trapped in. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot offers fans a full-fledged video game retelling of the beloved Dragon Ball Z storylines.

Classic Bonuses and PSP Offshoot

For fans of the PlayStation classics, Jak and Daxter The Lost Frontier brings the iconic duo to the PSP for a spinoff adventure. Cool Boarders, a snowboard racing game from 1996, has been remastered with updated features. Gods Eater Burst, originally released on PSP, offers a cooperative experience where players must stop mysterious lifeforms known as Aragami. The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy bundles three classic courtroom dramas together for an immersive experience. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R brings the over-the-top world of the anime to life in a game format.

Additional Benefits for Premium Subscribers

As an added bonus, My Hero Academia Season 1 will be available on Sony Pictures Core for Premium/Deluxe members starting April 1, 2024. Additionally, select series from Crunchyroll will be available in additional regions.
